Concerning Dances

pasztorbotolo01Dance is as old as mankind. It doesn not mean, of course, that "Samu" (prehistoric man, whose remains were found in Vértesszőlős, Hungary) was dancing csárdás, not to mention tango - but surely his people had their own dance.

In ancient times dance most likely was part of the rituals about and around LIFE. Before key events the ancient surely pre-danced what they had to achieve, thus securing the success.

Of Whom We Must Not Speak

Babba Mária

There is this peculiar similarity that in the ancient Mesopotamia the goddess was called "Baba"; she was the praised by the Sumir. What we know about this Baba is that she was "the daughter of An, wife of Nunurta, mother of Enki, and in the town of Kis she was known as the Mother Earth who breathes life into all living".

The Babba sanctuaries and temples are linked to cultural circles of the Sumer and the Carpathian Basin. Names of settlements or areas referring to this are Bábahalma, Babagura (the peak of Bába Hill, its other name is Woman Hill), Babarunka or the Babás-(szerkövek).

Folk costumes

26A ruha megmondta, melyik vidékre, melyik faluba való a viselője.

Tulips and Hungarian folk art

tulipan_01

In Europe it is commonly thought that tulips get to the Western regions by the Turks, tehn the royal court of Vienna also took interest in it - and already tulips were on their way to the new world fame.

However, we should look for the real origins where the Turks themselves came from. This place is: Inner Asia.
